![]() | Sawita Tarn Wongklahan was born on August 29, 1987, in Bangkok, Thailand. As a young girl, Sawita loved every Walt Disney’s cartoons, especially all Disney’s Princess stories. She wonder about the peeps behind the voices of her favorite cartoons like Cinderella or Snow White, and what it’s like making funny voices for a living. During secondary school at Rajinibon School, Thailand, she discovered her voice talent through participated in books and novels storyteller competitions. With many awards from the school, she was chosen to be the school’s representative to compete in the national round. Her last story, Little Red Ridding Hood, which she presented in English, won her the first prize in 2003

Sawita also participated in many exchange programs during her teenage life; lived and studied in four countries (New Zealand 2000, Japan 2002, The United States 2004, and Australia 2009). With deep passion in her voice talent, Sawita decided to move to the next level, voice dubbing. In 2006, she took a voice dubbing for cartoon course with GenX Academy. With her talent, comes her first production as Serafina, the cat, in one of the Barbie’s series. | ![]() |
![]() | In 2004, Sawita stepped into the spotlight of stage production at Patravadi Theatre. She was trained by Mrs. Patravadi Mejudhon, the founder of Patravadi Theatre and a well-known acting guru of Thailand. In 2005, Sawita decided to pause her passion in the imaginary world of stage performance and voice dubbing for cartoon, and hit a play into the real world, the world of journalism. She participated in a news anchor course and a journalist course with The Nation. After finished high school at Rajinibon School, Thailand in 2006, she continued her Bachelor Degree at Chulalongkorn University. The first year as a Communication Arts student, Sawita put her acting skill into a good use with the Nitade’s mini-stage play. |
As a Communication Arts student, Sawita has been studying components of both national and international communication arts. She is capable of managing varieties of communication tasks; persuasion & negotiation, presentation, public relations, graphic design, news reporting, and etc. Sawita also participated in another news anchor training course with FM.101.5 Radio Chula in 2006.
Balancing between the world of cartoon and the world of journalism, Sawita took another turn and went with Amarin Printing and Publishing Company for a voice dubbing for film training in 2008. At Amarin, she met an excellent voice dubber of Thailand, Mrs. Naiyana Sangworribudh, who eventually became her voice trainer and helped bring Sawita into the real voice dubbing world.
With much training to enhance her voice talent, Sawita learnt that to become a good voice dubber, she would have to beCurrently, Sawita had done some voice dubbing productions with Dream Work and Cartoon Network. Her first production was in the special feature of Kung Fu Panda Movie (DVD).
In 2010, she received a second honored in Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Art.
